In March, FDA issued a warning letter to the company that it had not sold any sildenafil product, citing a recall.
In a letter, FDA Commissioner Lester Crawford asked manufacturers of the drug to conduct a review of their product. FDA said it will review the safety of the drug and will conduct more studies.
Viagra, a treatment for erectile dysfunction, is used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate.
